Over 200 thank you notes will be sent to the survivors of the Warsaw Upsrising. In cooperation with the Consulate General in Toronto two Polish schools joined the remarkable campaign BohaterON.

The directors and teachers from Jan Brzechwa Polish School in Milton and Szkolny Punkt Konsultacyjny in Toronto encouraged students to write few words to the people who were fighting for freedom of Poland. The action was preceded with a special lecture, during which, students learned about World War II and the history of the Warsaw Rising. The cards will be sent to FundacjaSensoria, from where they will be delivered to the veterans. The Campaign was launched for the second time by Fundacja Sensoria in partnership with The Warsaw Rising Museum between August 1st and October 2nd.  Last year almost 100 000 cards were sent to the Warsaw Uprising survivors, this year organizers expect to receive even more. Polish schools from Ontario, Canada participated in the project for the first time. More info: www.bohateron.pl
